What is Asian Handicap?
Asian Handicap is a form of betting used in Soccer which is becoming a highly popular way of betting on Soccer matches. Rather than the standard Win/Loss/Draw bet offered by bookmakers, Asian Handicap simply eliminates the Draw and handicaps both teams relative to strength, so instead of the 3 bet options you now have 2. So in effect, since you are removing the chance of the draw your are increasing your chances of winning from 33.3% to 50%
How are teams Handicapped?
Teams are handicapped based on strength, so in other words the weaker team are effectively given a head start over their stronger opposition and the bigger the difference the more each team is handicapped.
